BATTERY

Replace the old and outdated battery in the Polilight Flare +2 and receive a new high-powered li-ion multicell battery that will bring new life to the Polilight flare +2.

The battery capacity of the Polilight Flare +2 decreases by 20% after approx. 300 charges. After 500 charges it will be reduced to 50% of the original battery capacity. After 500 charges It is highly recommended to replace the battery to ensure reliable performance and reduce the risk of voltage damage to electric circuits.

OPTIC

Our latest generation of optics increases light intensity and creates a powerful beam of uniform light. Upgrading the optic on the Polilight Flare +2 will bring the light to the same level as a new forensic light source. The upgraded optic creates a focused beam and increases the overall efficiency of the old Polilight Flare +2.

A noticeable difference between the new and old optic is the new lens is more resilient against cracking as it is protected by a rubber ring, as this is a significant problem with the optic on the Polilight Flare +2

LED

Polilight Flare +2 was introduced to the market in 2009 when the LED technology was yet to be perfected. After more than a decade of constant innovation and progress the LED technology is now light-years ahead and the LEDs in the Polilight Flare Plus 2 are categorized as obsoleted and should be replaced to bring the light up-to-date and provide more power and performance.

The new LED components used in our new ForensicFlare Light are the same LEDs used when upgrading the Polilight Flare +2.
